Renmin University of China offers international students on-campus accommodation in the International Students Building and International Cultural Exchange Center. The rooms are equipped with internet, telephone, air conditioner, etc. The facilities inside the buildings include shared kitchen space, laundry, convenience stores, and study rooms.
 
Students can also choose to live off-campus if there is any appropriate apartment available. Please note that students living off-campus must register in the local police station with the landlord within 24 hours of arrival and get a Temporary Residence Registration Form. While living on campus, the reception will do the registration automatically. When students move to another place, change the passport or renew the visa, the Temporary Residence Registration Form must be renewed.

Reservation Procedure
1. Please fill in the housing reservation form carefully (the housing reservation form will in included in the admission package), especially your passport number. Please fill in the serial number for the type of room you wish to rent (Rooms will be arranged by serial number).
2. Send the scanned reservation form via email to the following address: LGIA@ruc.edu.cn. Use your full name as the email subject. We only accept electronic versions of the reservation form. Please do not send them to the international department via express mail or fax. Please do not send duplicate reservation forms. The deadline for sending the reservation form is indicated in the applicants¡¯ admission package.
3. Due to the limited number of rooms on campus, not every student who submits a reservation from will be guaranteed a room. We will arrange rooms based on the types of room available and the date you send the form on a first come, first served basis. The results will be sent to you via email before the deadline indicated in the reservation form. If you do not hear from us by that time, please contact us by telephone at: +86-10-62516570
 
Note:
1. New students should make reservations and check-in based on the time specified in the Admission Letter.
2. Materials required for check-in: Passport, two 1-inch photos, Admission Notice and RMB 300 deposit.
