Professor Liu Junhai Attended the Sustainable Public Procurement Seminar Held by UNCITRAL
During July 1st and 2nd, Professor Liu Junhai was invited to the seminar ¡°New Trend and Legal Challenge in Sustainable Public Procurement¡± held by the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) in Songdo, Incheon, South Korea.
In the first unit ¡°the Legislative Trend of Public Procurement Law¡±, Professor Liu spoke on the institutional design and the practice of reformation on the Chinese Government Procurement Act. He expressed academic viewpoints on the importance of government procurement and its market effect, the legal attributes of government procurement contracts, etc. Professor Liu also hosted the third unit of the seminar.
Joao Ribeiro, Director of the Asia Pacific Regional Center of UNCITRAL and Jong-Cheol Lee, Director General of the Administration of Inchon free Economic Zone delivered opening speeches. Jong-sooYoon of the United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD) gave a congratulation speech. Experts, scholars and senior lawyers from the UNCITRAL, China, Korea, Australia and other countries expressed academic viewpoints on the seminar.
