Perfect and effective rear service is very important to the development of the Law School. We synthesize resources of the School of Law, the university and the society, and provide each item of service including those concerning quality of life, loans, and Internet services, on behalf of each member of the School of Law, teachers and students. Rear service is one of the functions of Law School's affair office. At present, Mr. Han Song is in charge of it. MINGDE BUIDING

Mingde building is the newly-built modern and comprehensive teaching building in Renmin University of China, featuring teaching, working, experiment, library, conference and other functions. The building is the largest single teaching building so far in China , with a total built-up area of 140,000 square-meters.

The eastern part of the building is called Mingde Law Building with an area of more than 10,000 square-meters, in front of which lie 28 steps. There are 10 floors in all. The library takes up the first, fourth and fifth floor, including an electronic reading room with 100 accessible computers. On the second floor is the hall of the Mingde Law Building, and the exhibition room for history of the Law School, the exhibition room of achievements of the Law School. Also on the second floor is a distinguished guest reception room. On the third floor is a miniature academic report room. Offices of party affairs, an international academic report room and a moot court take up the sixth floor. From the seventh floor to the tenth floor there are key bases of the School of Law, offices for each discipline and each teaching and research section, research centers and affair offices for professors, associate professors and lecturers. The hardware facilities of the Law School have been greatly improved, laying a solid foundation to the long-term development of the school and the realization of the goal of "No .1 in China , first class around the world."
