The Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program in Chinese Law, a two-year English Graduate program offered by Renmin Law School, has a focus on Chinese Civil and Business Law, with English as the instruction language.

Therefore, Chinese law has become an essential source of knowledge as well as a valuable instrument for international students and legal professionals who have business, cultural, academic and political communication with China. Thus, Renmin Law School has established the LL.M. Program in Chinese Law to meet the needs of the international community to gain an inside view of Chinese law from a first-rate legal institution in China.
The duration of the program is 2 years (4 semesters), starting in September and finishing two years later in July. The first year is full time course-work with class attendance. The second year is thesis writing, legal practice and internship. The LL.M. Program offers valuable internship opportunities to work in law firms and other legal institutions in China to help students apply their theoretical knowledge in practice.
